About Me

Welcome to Wild Ginger Photography. My name is Molly Valdes, and I am an equine and pet photographer based in Jacksonville, Florida, serving clients across the United States. With a lifelong passion for animals and a deep-rooted background in the equestrian world, I specialize in capturing authentic, emotional, and timeless images that celebrate the unique bond between animals and the people who love them.

I bring over 20 years of hands-on horse experience and more than four years of professional photography to every session. My equestrian background includes teaching horseback riding lessons, working with multiple riding disciplines, and years spent around horses both in and out of the show ring. This experience allows me to read body language, anticipate moments, and work safely and confidently with horses of all temperaments. It also means I know how to capture flattering angles, movement, and expressions that truly showcase each horse at their best.

At Wild Ginger Photography, I specialize in equine portraits, show photography, and pet portraits, with offerings that include black background sessions, black and white imagery, stylized and fantasy shoots, slice-of-life storytelling sessions, and seasonal beach sessions. I also offer dog portraits and enjoy creating artistic images that highlight personality, connection, and character. My favorite breed to photograph is the Gypsy Vanner, though I truly love working with all breeds and disciplines.

In addition to photography, I offer select videography services to help clients tell their stories in motion. Whether documenting a special partnership, a show season, or a once-in-a-lifetime horse, my goal is always the same: to create meaningful, high-quality artwork you’ll treasure for years to come.

I am proud to be a Sony shooter and continuously invest in professional equipment, education, and growth. I am also a member of both the Florida Professional Photographers Association and the Professional Photographers of America, ensuring I stay current with industry standards and continue to refine my craft.

The name comes from my red hair and spirited personality, but also from my approach to photography: bold, creative, and full of heart.
